Flagler County, Florida – A 64-year-old Flagler County man assaulted a health care worker and assaulted a young girl inside Walmart, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO). He was arrested on New Year’s Day on suspicion of Deputies believe there could be more victims.
After Robert Goldstein was arrested, his photo was run through facial recognition software and it was discovered that he was also wanted for assaulting an 11-year-old girl at Walmart.
David K. Williams, director of Investigative Services, said Goldstein stroked the top of the girl’s head and ran his hand over her shoulder.
Deputies said they are glad the girl’s parents did not remain silent and came forward and spoke about the incident.
“This kind of thing happens more often than is reported,” Williams said.
Anna Walker and Sharonda Woods, both mothers, said they were shocked to learn of Goldstein’s actions in a post on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.
“Terrorism. Absolute horror,” Walker said.
Goldstein’s arrest follows the arrest of another Lee County man for attempted kidnapping inside a Walmart store.
The incident was caught on camera, and deputies say Pablo Hernandez grabbed the 4-year-old’s hand and tried to walk away with him, but a family member pulled him back.
Given that each incident happened within a week of each other, Walker said she prefers to leave her children at home and tries to keep them close to her in the store if they are with her.

Williams said Goldstein has no criminal record and is not on the sex offender registry, but because of his recent actions, he believes there may be more victims.
“We would like anyone who recognizes him in the community to come forward if they have had any dealings with him in the past, similar situations or anything like that. ” Williams said.
Officials said if more victims come forward, Goldstein could be held accountable for everything he did.
Williams also said it’s best to make sure children are nearby when in public, be aware of your surroundings and remain vigilant.
