Ypsilanti, Michigan (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team is scheduled to compete in five tournaments during the fall, including one hosting event. Ryan Kucera The announcement was made today, August 27. The fall schedule will begin in September and run through the first week of November.
The team will kick off its fall schedule by playing host to the EMU Fall Invitational Tournament at the Chippewa Club in Ypsilanti from Sept. 20-22. The event will feature multiple singles and doubles matches over three days with a champion crowned at the end of the event.
The Eagles will compete in three tournaments in October, starting with the Indiana University Invitational (Oct. 4-6, Bloomington, Indiana). The following week, several EMU players will travel to Columbus, Ohio, where Ohio State University will host the 2024 ITA Midwest Regional Championship. The month will end with the 2024 MAC Fall Individual Championship in Oxford, Ohio. This new event will be hosted by Miami University Oct. 24-27 and will determine the singles and doubles champions.
The fall will conclude with a trip to East Lansing, Michigan, where the Eagles will participate in the Michigan State University Hidden Duals from November 1-3.
A complete spring schedule, which typically begins in January, will be released toward the end of the fall season.
