The First City Pride Center in Savannah is one of only two LGBTQIA+ community centers in the state, and each October the center hosts Savannah Pride, a festival and parade around Ellis Square. This year’s event features family-friendly and adult-friendly offerings, from a Pride Week curator’s tour of the Telfair Art Museum discussing the work of African-American sculptor Richmond Barthes to a drag show starring RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants.
