New Mexico 31-123 Project In-Person Open House
The New Mexico Department of Transportation will hold an open house with WSP representatives to explain and answer questions about JAL’s reconstruction plan for NM 128 from County Road 6A (Dump Ground Road) to Sookie Road. is. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in the summer of 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025. An open house will be held on his Monday, October 23rd.rd From 2pm to 5pm. OPD Neighborhood Watch Conference: Domestic Violence Awareness
The Odessa Police Department is scheduled to host another Neighborhood Watch meeting this week. This week’s focus is domestic violence awareness, in honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.The West Texas Crisis Center will tackle this serious topic on Tuesday, October 24thth 7 p.m. in the OPD classroom. Fort Stockton Trunk or Treat

FCCBB Zuzu Vaak Monument and Candle Vigil
The annual Zuzu Virk memorial service and candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday at the Big Bend Family Crisis Center. Attendees will walk down Sul Ross Avenue to the Brewster County Courthouse for the presentation while enjoying refreshments. The walk aims to honor victims and survivors of domestic violence. Midland Parks and Recreation 11th Annual “Halloween Fest”
The Midland Parks and Recreation Department plans to hold what the city calls an event filled with gory games, wicked candy and more on Thursday, Oct. 26. At MLK Park, from 6pm to 8pm, all ages will have an unforgettable time with family and friends. Learn more about.

On Saturday, October 28th, the City of Andrews will host a “Fall Litter Bash” event at 100 NW Avenue D. Join us for a citywide cleanup event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The city is cleaner, greener, and more beautiful than ever before. Andrews will also be holding its first scrap tire collection contest at the same time. The contest will be held at 210 NW Avenue D.
