Columbia State Historic Park will host its annual Harvest Festival Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stroll through the streets of historic Columbia and shop at more than 40 artisan booths featuring unique handmade arts and crafts. Visit and explore all the shops, restaurants, taverns, exhibits, and museums where merchants and faculty are dressed in their 1870s clothing. There are plenty of activities including live music, face painting, gold panning, stagecoach rides, and candle making. Parking and admission are free.
Mountain Youth and Community Theater will present “Tuck Everlasting the Musical Show” this Friday through October 15th. The story follows Winnie, who discovers the magic behind the Tuck family’s endless youth and is forced to make a choice. Return to her old life or continue her endless journey with the Tuck family.
