Godfrey — Lewis & Clark Community College will host L&C experts to share stories and perspectives on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m., at the Reed Memorial Library on campus, 5800 Godfrey Road in Godfrey. We are launching a new series called “LC Speaks.”
Edwardsville City Councilwoman Elizabeth Grant will also be on the panel.
LC Speak is held each fall and aims to establish and foster connections across campus through storytelling and shared experiences.
This year’s speakers are Sheila Vaughan, Secretary of State’s Literacy Coordinator for Adult Education, Elizabeth Grant, Professor of Speech, Mumba Mumba, Professor of Speech, and Melody Davis-Wilson, Adjunct Lecturer in Health Information and Medical Coding.

November December 25 30 Tree Glen Festival: The Glen Carbon Heritage Museum will be decorated with holiday lights, the holiday tree will be lit at special times, and visitors will be able to vote for their favorite tree. Prizes will be awarded. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted. Starting November 25th, Saturday business hours will be from 5pm to 8pm.
