Overland Park, Kansas, December 12, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Benefits are becoming increasingly important to employees and can impact engagement and satisfaction at work, according to a new survey conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of TFL.
The study included a survey of 2,001 full-time U.S. employees over the age of 18 and found that 8 in 10 (78%) Americans believe their employers should provide more comprehensive benefits. 68% of respondents said they expected more. They are getting more benefits from their employers “in terms of work-life benefits than they were even three years ago.”
The challenge for many employers is how to accomplish this feat, as only 34% of Americans are satisfied with their employer’s benefits that give them something to enjoy outside of work. However, the study also revealed significant opportunities for businesses.
Live Event Employer Gap
The study found that live events are an untapped tool for employers seeking to meet increasing employee benefit standards.
Even though 72% of Americans want their company to offer free or heavily discounted live events as a corporate perk, respondents say their employers do so. At just 24%, it ranked last among evaluation tools for employers.
