Welcome to the Gannon Club at Erie Insurance Arena.
Gannon University and Erie Events announced Friday a three-year, $105,000 sponsorship agreement at the arena’s club level, located at the upper west end of the arena.
This area includes exclusive views of the arena and events at adjacent UPMC Park, separate restrooms and concessions, and is located near the arena’s 14 luxury suites.
In exchange for paying Erie Events $105,000 in sponsorship rights, the partnership will include Gannon signage throughout the club level.
Gannon affiliates and their students will also have access to free or discounted tickets to a variety of events held at the arena. Allows Gannon to use club levels in various events. Gannon and Erie Events officials said in a joint statement that Gannon students majoring in sports business, entertainment and marketing will be offered real-world internships and work experience at Erie Events.
Gannon spokesman Doug Orsoto said the deal makes sense for both parties.
“Erie Events and Gannon have worked together for years,” Oathout said. “We have graduation ceremonies at Erie Insurance Arena. We host Gannon Reed events at the Warner Theater and occasionally host alumni events at that facility.
“This partnership not only provides additional opportunities for our students, but also gives us the flexibility to meet at the Gannon Club,” Orsoto said.
Gus Pyne, Executive Director of Erie Events, added: This collaboration with Gannon will fit well into our activities. ”
