DOLLAR Tree shoppers raved about the kitchen essentials when comparing them to their favorite products from the pricier Walmart brand.
This customer purchased a set of two disposable cutting boards and shared their review.
A YouTuber who goes by the name Secret Life of Vivian (@Vivian_Tries) showed off a pack of four disposable cutting boards that she found on sale for $1.25.
Vivian raved about the value of this Dollar Tree item.
“Why would I pay a lot of money for this when it's disposable,” she said in a YouTube video.
Vivian compared this bargain to a pack of Dixie Ultra cutting boards.
This pricey product retails for $11.72.
Vivian explained that the Dixie Pack contains 10 boards, while Dollar Tree's offering contains four items.
Nonetheless, the YouTuber said he believes the $8.75 savings was worth it.
“In my opinion, it's still a no-brainer,” she said.
“They're not flashy, and they're not something you can pass down to your children's children.”
“It's for a quick cutting session. Easy,” she added.
Vivian said the main similarity between the two products is the thickness of the board.
She also explained the main differences between these products.
First, she said, Dollar Tree's packs come in four different colors and images to accommodate different types of foods.
The Dixie Ultra board comes in two different colors.
Dollar Tree fakes
Savvy shoppers have been scouring Dollar Tree to find knockoffs of their favorite products.
Vivian said another big difference is how these items work with water.
She revealed that the Dollar Tree product absorbed water faster than the Dixie Board, resulting in deeper cuts.
One YouTuber shared a rave review of a Dollar Tree product for a specific reason.
“My boyfriend is color blind and the Dollar Tree cutting boards themselves have pictures on them so they are great for someone who is color blind,” they wrote.
Significant savings
Dollar Tree shoppers have also been sharing other deals they've found at the store, The Sun previously reported.
These also include kitchen essentials such as decorative plates.
Dollar Tree's beaded border gold plastic charger plates are on sale for just $1.25.
These plates are compared to Target's Slickblue Glitter Gold Charger Plates with Stripe Texture and Glitter Rim, which are $56.99 for a set.
