The new school year is in full swing. It’s great to see an increasingly diverse student body in Wisconsin college towns like Madison, La Crosse, Whitewater, and Prattville.
Acquiring knowledge must be the goal of every human being. Going to university for your education is a rewarding experience that I hope many young people will experience.
Unfortunately, the cost of a college education has increased significantly over time. Additionally, the burden of student loan debt has turned education into a political issue. There is debate as to whether a college education is worth the time and money. Opinions vary widely on this point.
As someone who has successfully completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees, I have to say that getting an undergraduate degree is an experience that cannot be measured in money.

During my time at university, I was lucky to meet some wonderful people, both students and teachers. I spent a wonderful afternoon discovering life’s challenges and opportunities, experiencing the different sights and sounds of campus, learning how to manage workloads and meeting deadlines, engaging in intellectual dialogue, and resolving differences of opinion. I worked to resolve it. I cherish my university days.
It is true that financial success in life does not necessarily depend on a college education. However, university education allows people to find an intellectual path.
I would like high school graduates who are hungry for knowledge to consider university education. Despite the challenges and opportunity costs, a college education can be rewarding.
