(RTTNews) – Dorell Juvenile Group is recalling approximately 115,700 Costco Jump, Spin & Play activity centers for children that were sold exclusively at retail giant Walmart.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the activity center straps can come loose or break while your child is in the activity center. Your child may fall and get injured.
The recall was initiated after the Columbus, Indiana-based company received 141 reports of straps becoming dislodged or breaking, including 38 cases of minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, and scratches. .
The recall affects Costco Jump, Spin & Play activity centers with model numbers WA105FZW and WA105GML, sold in blue and pink. It has a circular hoop base and his three poles, and a child seat with a play tray is suspended by his three straps. There are two removable animal toys in the play tray in front of the seat, and his two animal toys hang from his two poles in front. The activity center can be adjusted to 3 different heights.
The affected activity centers were manufactured in China and sold for approximately $70 at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from November 2020 to October 2023.
Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the recalled activity center and contact Dorel for a replacement.
