Annual Veterans Day gathering in New Vienna
The annual Veterans Day Dinner will be held at the New Vienna Community Center on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is a great opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate and honor our veterans and active duty military. The dinner menu includes beef brisket, baked potatoes, green beans, salads, rolls and more.
Reservations are required to participate, so if you are interested, please bring your companion as well. To reserve your spot, please enter your contact information, guest’s name, and branch of service. Reservations can be made through the event’s Facebook page, Messenger, or by calling (937) 987-2092.
Honoring Veterans at Wilmington Veterans Memorial
The community will continue to honor local veterans this Saturday at 10 a.m. with a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in downtown Wilmington. Jeff Rollins, executive director of Clinton County Veterans Services, described the event as a meaningful way to honor those who have served our country. On this solemn and important occasion, you are invited to join us in celebrating Veterans Day.
