Waldorf, Maryland – Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) winter sports competition begins on Tuesday, December 5th. Also starting Dec. 5, CCPS will implement a paperless ticketing model for all school system-sponsored sporting events. Admission tickets must be purchased using the GoFan website (https://gofan.co/) or the GoFan app. All tickets purchased through GoFan are non-refundable. There will be no cash collection at the entrance and no re-entry to the venue will be allowed without permission.
To purchase on the app
When using the app, enter your school’s name, mascot, or city where the school is located. Select your school in the search results menu. App users will see a list of upcoming events including date, time and sport. Click the “Buy Tickets” button within the event entry, select the number of tickets you require, and click “Add to Cart” to purchase tickets. From there, users can sign in to her GoFan account or create an account. Tickets can be purchased using a credit or debit card. To use Apple or Google payment options, you must purchase tickets through the app. Once purchased, your ticket will appear in Tickets at the bottom of the app screen. A link to your ticket will be sent to the email address you used to create your GoFan account. Tickets can be sent to others via email or text.
To purchase using the website
If you would like to purchase tickets through the website, please sign in or create an account. Search for the school, mascot, or city where the school is located in the search bar. Find your event in the “Upcoming Events” menu and click the “Buy Tickets” button to the right of the entry. Select the number of tickets you would like to purchase and proceed with the purchase process.
Elderly people, CCPS staff
Spectators age 60 and older are eligible to receive a Senior Citizen Event Card, which provides free admission to CCPS-sponsored sporting events and countywide music and theater events. Senior cards will not be honored in playoffs or non-county events. Event cards for seniors are available from the Jesse L. Starkey Administration Building and high school athletic directors.
School system employees have free admission to most system-sponsored events using their CCPS-issued ID badge.
Restrictions remain in place for CCPS-sponsored games and events. Bags and backpacks are not allowed into the venue. Outside food and beverages are prohibited, including sporting equipment. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited on school grounds.
