ChurchPOP reported that Mark Wahlberg and Jonathan Roomy attended Ash Wednesday Mass with Franciscan priest Father Mark Mary (CFR). They appeared on Fox News to discuss their morning prayer habits.

Catholic celebrities Harrison Butker, Mario Lopez, Patricia Heaton and David Henry also wished their social media followers a happy and holy Lent on Ash Wednesday.
“I encourage everyone to draw closer to Christ this Lent,” Catholic Super Bowl champion Harrison Butker said in announcing his partnership with the Hallow Prayer app.
“Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent,” he said. “I had to put Christ first by going to Mass this morning. As you can see, I got the ashes.”
