CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Gone are the days of Junior Achievement and learning the importance of money and how to manage it at some schools.
During the pandemic, a new way to teach children about financial literacy has gained traction, and this method can be installed on any mobile device.

The core of BusyKid is to teach kids how to manage money, whether they earn money through housework or part-time jobs.
CEO Greg Marcet told WCNC Charlotte that BusyKid’s responsibilities go beyond just financial responsibility. It creates a foundational perspective early on for kids to learn how to save, invest, and even donate.
“What actually models reality is a small ecosystem before we face reality,” Marcet said. “They can save or invest in certain areas of the app. That’s exactly what they can do. This allows us to make sure they choose things they think are cool and can learn from.” Become.”
