The Boston Herald’s new and improved mobile app is now fully released and available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
The app features a more robust, personalized experience to help you stay on top of the news that matters most to you. Here is a summary of the fixes and a quick navigation guide.
If you already downloaded the mobile app before the update, you don’t need to re-download anything. However, if it didn’t update automatically, you may need to visit the app store to update it. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, search for “Boston Herald” in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
When you open the app and log in for the first time,[ニュース]You will be asked to select your favorite news topics to follow on the tab. Your choices will be reflected in the app’s ‘Your News’ tab, which will be a curated feed of articles related to your interests.
You can change your personalized news feed at any time. Subscribers can save articles to read later by tapping the bookmark icon below the article title.
The Herald encourages subscribers to turn on push alerts to receive daily notifications of breaking news and featured content. An electronic version of the daily newspaper for subscribers is also available on the app, as well as a home page that is constantly updated to reflect the Herald’s website.
Herald games such as crosswords and Sudoku are available in the “Fans and Games” subsection of the “Entertainment” section.
While the Herald remains committed to maintaining the integrity and high standards of our daily newspaper, we are excited to continue expanding our digital presence on the web, social media platforms and with our new and improved app.
