New or significantly improved Windows apps
app copy machine
Appcopier is an open source tool that locally backs up your customizations on Windows. Saves settings retrieved from the registry so that they can be restored to the same machine or to another machine running the operating system.
The first version can be used to back up privacy, taskbar, personalization, app privacy, and telemetry settings, as well as Windows Update settings and Windows 11 wallpaper.
MSEdge Redirect 0.7.5.1
The latest version of the open source tool introduces a new feature called European mode. Set your PC’s region to Europe so you can remove Microsoft Edge and possibly other unnecessary programs that are locked to other regions of the world.
The new mode adds other improvements, including the ability to easily disable web search.
Todoist
Todoist is a popular to-do list service that supports personal and team use, syncing, and more. Available as a free and paid service. Your account type determines your limits and features. For example, collaboration is only available as a business subscription feature.
The app is now officially available on the Microsoft Store.
