The study, titled “Delaying Marriage and Childbirth in China from 1990 to 2020: Trends and Characteristics,” analyzes census and sampling survey data to explain trends in late marriage and childbearing. According to this survey, the average age at first marriage nationwide rose from 22.87 years old in 1990 to 28.67 years old in 2020. Shoppers will soon see the newly renovated Longview Walmart Supercenter at 3715 Ocean Beach Highway as the long-awaited project is complete.To celebrate the completion of the renovation, the store held a community celebration and employee recognition ceremony on September 22nd. Walmart Store Manager Bart Stalter recognized the store’s 11 original employees for their contributions to the Longview community since 2011. To commemorate the event, Walmart employee Allen Daniels sang the national anthem.
