SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Home Page) — The Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter announced Oct. 17 that its 2023 Educational Conference will be held next week at the Stevens Central Library.
The 2023 Education Conference: ALZ & Me will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a press release from the association.
This year’s conference topics include:
- Resources available within the community
- Basics of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
- legal matters
- Ethical dilemmas in nursing care
- joy of movement
“We are bringing the community together to provide much-needed resources and support to those navigating the dementia journey,” said Jessica Cason, Advisory Board Chair of the West Texas Alzheimer’s Association Chapter. I’m really excited about what we can do.” “This conference will highlight the support services available within Concho Valley and help individuals plan their next steps in the face of Alzheimer’s disease.”
