The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping local Secret Santas donate $1 million to deserving people across Eastern Idaho this holiday season. This is the ninth year that Secret Santa has blessed people in our community, and every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll post a video of a recipient marveling at the life-changing gift they received.
Evan is a wonderful father to four children and a wonderful husband to his wife Kady. They’ve been through some tough times with Kadie’s health issues, their youngest son’s challenges, and car trouble with their 2011 Dodge minivan.
KaDee was recently admitted to the hospital for pacemaker replacement surgery.
Evan is very trustworthy and helps Kadie and the kids. He works full time at Walmart and goes to school to learn computer his network to improve his family’s situation. He often alternates his days off between schoolwork and helping his KaDee with her supplementary lessons.
Their 6-year-old son has epilepsy and autism. KaDee has Crohn’s disease, a pacemaker, and fibromyalgia. Through all of this, Evan has been very dedicated to his family.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves if they could track down Evan and give him an early Christmas present. Watch the surprise in the video player above.
