The American Legion Jay Wilson Post 112 in Madison announced it will hold its annual event.
Veterans Day commemorations will be held from November 10th to 12th to honor all those who served to protect our country and freedom.
A dinner including homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, dessert and coffee will be served to all veterans and guests on Nov. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. The dinner is free for veterans and requires a $5 donation from guests, according to a news release.
This will be followed by a performance by the Full Circle Band.
On Nov. 11, the Corps Auxiliary will serve a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by events including a coloring contest for children, a Jungle Terry presentation, a flag etiquette seminar, and a Chinese auction. A packed day is planned. said.
You can also consider showing off your talents at karaoke at 7 p.m.
On November 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sub-Zero Mission will be at the post to accept donations to help homeless people stay warm.
āWith 18% of the adult homeless population being veterans, this worthy cause is in dire need of new and used hats, gloves, coats, tents, sleeping bags and boots,ā the release states.
There will also be televised coverage of the Chili Cook-off and Cleveland Browns games, with special programming.
