KENT COUNTY, MI — With the first snow of the year falling in West Michigan last week, many people may be looking for indoor event options to get them out of the house this weekend.
If you don’t mind the cold too much, there are still plenty of activities to do outside.

Chef Valerie offers an intimate experience in Whitehall’s culinary kitchen, teaching you the techniques to make whatever you want to master. Choose from our fall ensemble classes, including tamales, homemade bread, fried udon noodles, and everyone’s favorite Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, to name a few. You can test your detective skills and taste buds with her popular “Delicious Demis” Murder Mystery Dinner. Best of all, you can arrange to entertain your own group or go it alone with your dream culinary theme. All you have to do is ask. Be sure to check out our constantly changing retail menu. This fall, there will also be plenty of homemade pies, breads, and cookies to order as part of your holiday girlfriend menu. As Valerie likes to say, “At Art of Cookery, you’re not just a student, you’re part of a flavorful family.” Dates and times vary.
