Washington – Thousands of children’s activity centers sold exclusively by Walmart are being recalled in the United States after more than 100 reports of units breaking, some causing minor injuries.
Approximately 115,700 Costco Jump, Spin and Play activity centers were recalled on Oct. 26, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the model numbers affected by the recall are WA105FZW and WA105GML, which represent the blue and pink color schemes, respectively.
Manufactured in China, this center features a circular hoop base and three upward-facing poles, each with a strap at the top that connects to a suspended child seat and play tray.
The CPSC said it has received 141 reports of detached or damaged strap thatch, including 38 reports of minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, and scratches.

Consumers are advised to immediately discontinue use of the Play Center and contact Dorel Juvenile Group for a replacement unit. Anyone who contacts Dorrell will be instructed to cut off the strap and send a photo of the destroyed activity center to receive a replacement, the CPSC said.
