Terre Haute, Indiana – Indiana State won 13 of 16 events Friday night at the Vigo County Aquatic Center as the Sycamores defeated Eastern Michigan 204-96 in two games.
Claire Parsons (500 and 1000 free) and chloe farro On Friday night, in their second home event of the season, the Sycamores improved to 6-0, with both teams winning two events each (50 free and 100 free). Shadleski, Matsumoto and Pearson took the top three spots in the 100-yard breaststroke. Shadleski took first place with a time of 1:04.72, while Matsumoto finished 0.08 seconds behind his teammate with a time of 1:04.72. Pearson took third place with a time of 1:04.97. Vukvich (1:07.91, 7th place) and Sula (1:12.13, 10th place) both posted top-10 finishes in the event.
Halsall and Cotter placed first and second in the 200-yard butterfly, with Halsall winning in 2:05.85. Cotter touched the wall behind his teammate for second place with a time of 2:06.73, and Harrell took fourth place with a time of 2:08.91. Shafer was the last Sycamore in the event with a time of 2:12.98.
The Sycamores had three of the top four finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, led by Faro’s 23.65. Kelly was second with a time of 24.14 seconds, and Barash was fourth with a time of 24.51 seconds. Bolles (24.76) and Supple (25.18) finished seventh and his 10th, respectively.

Shadolsky took 4th place with a time of 53.19 seconds, and Barash reached the barrier of 5th place overall with a time of 53.23 seconds. Groos (54.77) and Supple (54.38) rounded out the Sycamores on the field.
In the 200-yard backstroke, Diruzza touched the wall first in 2:03.72 and won. Reaves took third place with a time of 2:07.36, followed by Wiel Agapios (2:08.84) and Bullock (2:14.84) in fifth and sixth place.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Vukovic won the overall race with a time of 2:21.05, while Pearson took third place with a time of 2:22.47. Matsumoto (2:23.25, 4th place) and Shadlesky (2:27.36) both posted top-5 finishes, while Seurat finished 9th overall in 2:34.86.

Halsall finished second with a time of 5:05.19 and Cummins took second with a time of 5:05.79. rose parsons (5:11.80) finished third and fourth, respectively. Kelly was ISU’s top finisher in the 100-yard fly as the freshman touched the wall with a score of 55.74. Boles was second in 57.38 seconds and Harrell was sixth in 58.17 seconds. Schafer finished eighth with a time of 1:00.40.
Cotter, Vukvich and Shadolski took the top three spots in the 400-yard IM. Cotter took first place with a time of 4:27.51, and Vukvich took second with a time of 4:29.01. Shadleski rounded out the top three with a time of 4:34.56. Rydbeck Norden finished 6th in 4:43.78.
Smith placed third overall in the 1M diving event with a score of 265.88. Betzer (251.40 points) was seventh overall and Horta Castaneda was eighth with 237.53 points. Bowman placed 10th with a score of 198.15, and Woodruff placed 11th in the group with a score of 166.43.
The Sycamores closed out the meet with a top two finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Heagy, Matsumoto, Barash and Faro took first place with a time of 3:28.61, followed by Kelly, Pearson, Cummins and Agapios in second place with a time of 3:31.61. The last two groups are Claire ParsonsGroos, Bolles and Supple took fifth place with a time of 3:38.40, and Reeves, Dilza, Bullock and Nowak took sixth place with a time of 3:43.38.
