It’s almost time to put away your shorts and put on your jacket. Even though it’s getting cooler outside in November, things are happening at the Tahlequah Public Library.
We will continue our “Dance for Health and Fitness” classes on Thursdays at 10 a.m. through November 30th (except Thanksgiving Day). Our instructor Lena taught us the waltz, salsa, etc. Saturday at 1pm (also December 2nd) will be supplemented with a Line Her Dance by Stephanie Tippy of Muddy Boots Line Dance. Join us in moving and striving for healthier lives! And our friends at the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Oklahoma State Library Authority for providing grants that make this possible. I would also like to thank you.
November is also International Gaming Month, and we’ll be playing some intense games all month long. Keep an eye on the calendar for board games, video games, and special gaming events as well. One of his special gaming events will be held all day on November 20th and will offer a Harry Potter themed escape to his room.
Budding artists can continue to scratch their itch with “Pam’s Holiday Crafts” on Tuesdays at 6 p.m., and “Drawing Adventures” with John on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. Both are centered around the fall and holiday season, and are sure to educate and entertain. If you’re looking to relieve some stress, Pam’s Color Me Stress Free event will be held on November 30th at 3pm. All of these events require registration. Call the library at (918) 456-2581 to register.
As you can see, we are here to serve you in a variety of ways. Please visit our website eols.org/tahlequah for upcoming activities and news.
Whether you’re attending an event that interests you or checking out your favorite books, movies, or games, we look forward to seeing you at the library.
