WASHINGTON — More than 115,000 children’s activity centers sold at Walmart have been recalled after nearly 40 children were injured.
Dorell Juvenile Group is suspending two models of its Cosco Jump, Spin & Play activity centers because the straps that secure child seats can come loose or break, posing a risk of falls and injuries. announced a recall.
The jumper was sold exclusively at Walmart from November 2020 to October 2023 in stores nationwide and online for approximately $70.
The Indiana-based manufacturer said it has received 141 reports of straps becoming dislodged or breaking, including 38 cases of minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, or scratches. Ta.
The recalled activity centers are available in blue and pink and are only model numbers WA105FZW and WA105GML. The model number is located on the label below the activity center.
Costco Kids said the light blue version of the activity center with model number WA105HCM is not included in the recall because it has an additional black safety strap.
Parents or caregivers using any of the recalled activity centers should immediately stop using it and contact Dorel for a free replacement. The company announced it would ship a new activity center free of charge if consumers cut off the straps on the recalled models and provide ID photos to the company.
