Next month, the New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC) will be the place to be for music lovers. From jazz to soul, funk to classical, there’s something for everyone.
If you’re interested in jazz, be sure to listen to a performance by jazz guitarist Dave Stryker, who has been described as “one of the most unique guitarists to emerge in recent years.” village voice He was the opening act for the latest tour of the famous rock and jazz fusion band Steely Dan. If classical music is your thing, the Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra brings a performance of “passion and power” to your venue.

New Tampa in Concert: Pieces of Eight (Chicago Tribute), Sunday, Nov. 5, 3 p.m.
Pieces of Eight is a popular soul and funk band in Tampa Bay. They bring hits like Chicago, Tower of Power, and more. Pieces of Eight has a full horn section and sounds you’ll want to listen to over and over again. Don’t forget the full bar! Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra Fall 2023 āPassion & Powerā Friday, Nov. 10, 8 p.m.

NTPAC will partner with the Tampa Jazz Club and USF School of Music to present a performance by jazz guitarist Dave Stryker. Stryker’s notable career includes his five albums that made him number one on Jazz Week’s Radio Charts, as well as playing as a featured sideman for the likes of Stanley, Turrentine, and Jack McDuff. Screen movies in NTPAC’s state-of-the-art theater. This fall, you can check out NTPAC’s Bollywood Film Series and Children’s Film Series, showing classics from their respective genes.
