Park Slope Halloween Parade | Park Slope | 3:00pm – 7:30pm
Don your best costume and join the annual Park Slope Civic Council Halloween Parade on October 31st. The parade route begins on His 7th Avenue from 14th Street to His 3rd Avenue, turns onto 3rd Avenue, and ends at the Old Stone House. Schedule: Kids Trick or Treat from 3pm to 6pm. Line up for the parade on 14th Street at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the City Council began the parade, followed by elected officials. The parade ends at 7:30 PM at Old Stone House/Washington Park. free
Dumbo Vienna Parade, Party and Trick-or-Treat | Dumbo | 4-7 p.m.
A neighborhood tradition, Danboun, involves hundreds of costumed Danbonians accompanied by brass bands and puppets in their annual march through Brooklyn Bridge Park to the arch. This will be followed by an archway party featuring crafts by Creatively WILD Art Studio, a photo booth and, of course, candy. Sponsored by the Cobble Hill Association, the parade is led by a big brass band and a procession of costumed families marches through Parliament to Henley, around Warren Street and back to the park. Myrtle Avenue’s annual Halloween dance party is back. There will be games, snacks, a DJ, dancing and a special Thriller Dance. Catch Thriller Dance at 4:45pm, led by PS 20’s Zheng and the PS 20 Dancers, and enjoy all the other fun from 4pm to 6pm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. free
