What to do…
Communicate orally and/or in writing with individuals or groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees).
Drives, develops, and implements business plans for areas of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety, etc.) and implement operational improvements.
Predict and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance outcomes to meet business demands for workload and performance outcomes.
Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget. Monitor asset usage. Creating, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports.
Monitors and ensures facility-wide compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
Investigates employee, customer, and supplier concerns and ensures they are resolved independently or in consultation with others as appropriate.
Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charities. Advocates company-sponsored programs and events to employees, customers, and local communities.
Supervises and manages employees and leaders in assigned areas by providing direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Identify training and development needs and provide learning and growth opportunities. Direct and support logistics and company policies and procedures. Participates in the hiring, promotion, coaching, training, and evaluation of employees throughout the facility.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (e.g., business administration, logistics, business administration, financial management, production/operations management, etc.). She has over 2 years of experience in senior management roles in operations/distribution/logistics environments where she was responsible for supervising, evaluating, coaching and developing managers/supervisors. Workload management. Two years of experience that includes participating in the hiring and promotion of employees across facilities or supervising, evaluating, coaching and developing employees as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager. Manage employee workload. 4+ years of experience participating in employee recruitment and promotion or in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment responsible for supervising, evaluating, coaching, and developing managers/supervisors. Workload management. Participates in employee recruitment and promotions throughout the facility.
Employees must attend and successfully complete all job-required training and assessments (Academy Training, Open Door Training, etc.).
