Foley, Alabama – App State men won the 2023 Sunbelt Men’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley. This was his third Sun Belt Conference title for the Mountaineers in program history.
South Alabama’s Teagan Flanagan won the men’s individual 8K title for the first time in his career with a time of 23:57.2. Flanagan earned runner-up honors in both 2022 and 2021.
App State finished with its lowest point total (28) since 2013, when the Trojans won with 23 points. Arkansas State was second to him with 47 and ULM was third with 108. Texas State (122) and South Alabama (123) also rounded out the top five.
