How important is Homecoming to NC A&T? Yes, it’s been dubbed “The Greatest Homecoming on Earth,” and anyone who witnessed it would wholeheartedly agree.
The fact that it’s the best homecoming on the planet isn’t the city’s biggest secret. In fact, the homecoming football game against Towson University at Trust Stadium is already sold out, as is the Aggie Alumni Homecoming concert featuring Charlie Wilson.
If you are a student or graduate, you probably already know that there are many special events planned just for you. For a complete schedule of events, please visit www.ncat.edu/homecoming.
If you’re a Triad resident with no particular allegiance to the Aggies, but are looking for something fun to do, you’ll find some fun events open to the public.
This Saturday, get started before it all starts and attend a free screening of a documentary about universities and their impact on the world. It’s called “Our Blues Make Us Gold” and will be held Saturday at Harrison Auditorium from 1 to 4 p.m. Hosted by Lil Obeezy (Rhushaun Holley) and Juss Mikey (Michael Bivens), there will be music by DJ ISO. All ages are welcome. You can reserve your spot by visiting www.eventbrite.com/e/sneak-peek-nc-at-docuseries-homecoming.
