This event will be held at 1605 Marshall St. (Uptown Bar and Lounge) near several other Halloween events. It starts at 10pm on Saturday and runs until 3am.

Production of “Beauty and the Ballot Box”
The event will be held at the Bossier Arts Council in East Bank on Saturday at 3 p.m.
What to expect:
- A new play written by Carolyn Jones Sullivan, daughter of the late Dr. E. Edwards Jones Sr. and Leslie Jones, Shreveport natives and civil rights pioneers.
This play chronicles the extraordinary efforts of hairdressers contributing to the voting and civil rights movement in northwest Louisiana. The piece focuses on his 1958 Modern Beauty Shop, founded by local civil rights pioneers Anne Brewster and Mamie Love Wallace. The Modern Beauty Shop is a landmark and served as a community hub during Shreveport’s civil rights movement.
Fête du Vaux
The event will be held at Fat Calf Brasserie, 3030 Creswell Ave. It will be held on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Fat Calf’s is celebrating his fourth anniversary.
Ticket includes:

Bossier Farmers Market – Halloween Edition
This event will be held on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm in the Pierre Bossier Mall parking lot (every Saturday through November) and is free to attend.
What to expect:
- Agricultural products, arts, crafts, handmade items, plants, baked goods, etc.

- Trick-or-treating (many vendors handing out candy and goodies)
