This semester, the Career and Corporate Outreach Center within the College of Business Administration hosted several career events, including Preparation for the Fair, Networking Reception 1, and Career Fair. The event had record student attendance, with over 2,200 students participating.
The series began on Sept. 27 with “Prepare for the Fair,” where free headshots, mock interviews, and resume critiques gave participants the tools they need to land a job.
Networking Reception 1, held the following week on October 3, had an impressive turnout of students and employers. The event provided students and companies with a platform to establish connections, exchange information and explore potential career paths through these interactions.
The October 4 Career Fair attracted more than 65 employers eager to engage with business students. Participating companies included Greater Nevada Credit Union, Whitter Trust Company of Nevada, ZLINE Kitchen and Bath, and Tesla Motors.
“ZLINE had a great experience attending The College of Business career event for the third year. The atmosphere was vibrant and the engagement between students and faculty was truly amazing,” said ZLINE Kitchen & Bath. said Maroon Aboud, Human Resources Operations Coordinator. “We love going to these career fairs because they provide a valuable platform for students to explore career opportunities at ZLINE and connect with potential talent.”
Participants demonstrated the College’s student body’s dedication to further career success and highlighted the important work of the Career and Corporate Outreach Center and support from College faculty and community businesses.

These events provide first-hand opportunities for both students and employers to develop professional relationships, helping students secure jobs and internships, and companies connecting with potential employees before graduation. Helpful.

The Career and Corporate Outreach Center will hold its final career event, Networking Reception 2, on November 3 from 4 to 6 p.m.
