1. Hornfest

detail: Hauntfest is the area’s largest outdoor Halloween party. The 37th annual festival features DJs, food trucks, beer trucks, buskers and a costume contest. This year’s theme is science fiction. Anyone who wears a sci-fi themed costume has a chance to win cash prizes and Oregon District memorabilia.

2. “Dracula: Bloodline”

3. Blessed Union of Souls

detail: It’s been nearly 30 years since Cincinnati-based Blessed Union of Souls released their platinum-selling debut, Home, which included the Top 10 single “I Believe.” The group, which released new songs “The Way Home” and “Long Walk to Love” in August, will perform an intimate show with Alexis Gomez at the local opener. Line”, “Tough Love”, “Turn the Page”, and “I Thought You Was My Otter”. Atlas Kessinger shines as a rebellious high school dropout who swears by the mind games of authority figures and classmates who will stop at nothing to improve his test scores.

5. “Night of the Living Dead”

detail: Miamisburg’s Plaza Theater is celebrating spooky season with two screenings of this 1968 classic. Original co-writer John Russo, who co-wrote the legendary film with director George A. Romero and also starred as Zombie, will participate in a post-screening Q&A moderated by filmmaker and Plaza Theater Manager Johnny Catalano. It’s planned.

6. Wag O Vienna

7. Cheesecake

detail: Level Up Productions presents the 3rd Annual Yelloween, a night with cheesecake. The local jam band project, which has formed sporadically over the past 20 years, includes longtime Works frontman Chris Houser (guitar, vocals), Subterranean’s Chucky Love (bass), and Buddy Danko’s T-Bone the Metronome (drums) will be participating. Local band Visitor_official will also perform. Music starts around 9pm. 10. Before I Die Festival

detail: The event will feature food and dessert trucks, wine, beer and coffee. At 7 p.m. and his 8 p.m., patrons can embark on his walking tour of history, mystery, mayhem, and murder.
