Fall festival set Saturday in Oakmont
Oakmont Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a fall festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday along Allegheny River Blvd. in the borough, rain or shine.
There will be a DJ, train rides, food, a costume and pet costume contests, pumpkin decorating and more. A parade will be at 11 a.m. with line-up at 10:45 a.m. on Isabella Street behind the Kwik Fill.

Apollo Area Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to help prepare meals and deliver meals to clients.

Bingo to benefit Lower Valley Community Food Bank
A harvest bingo to benefit the Lower Valley Community Food Bank will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Acme Club, 230 Herron Ave., Harmar.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $25 and includes six cards for the 10 regular games, popcorn, soft drinks and water. Extra cards, food, specials, lottery sure tip tickets and 50-50 tickets will be sold. Cash bar.
