Six Flags Fright Fest
When: Until Sunday, October 29th. Times vary.
Location: Six Flags Over Georgia
Thrill-seekers can get into the Halloween spirit at Six Flags Over Georgia’s annual event, which features haunted houses, scare zones, nighttime roller coasters, and holiday-themed food and drink.

Capturing the spirit of Auckland
Date and time: October 26th-29th and October 31st
Location: Oakland Cemetery, 248 Oakland Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
A fall tradition in Atlanta, the event is “aimed to enlighten, not scare.” This tour brings to life the stories of the cemetery’s famous and infamous residents. A costumed guide will take you through the Victorian gardens, but we recommend that you wear your own costume. The event will also include musical performances, craft beer and cocktails, and the Oakland Cemetery gift shop.

Survive the zombie apocalypse in Kendeda
When: Friday, October 27th, 4-7 p.m.
Location: Kendeda Building for Innovative and Sustainable Design
Head to the Kendeda Building to learn how to survive the zombie apocalypse in a living building with potable water storage, a solar power system, composting toilets, and the ability to grow food on a rooftop garden. Take a zombie-themed tour, eat, and participate in workshops where you can learn how to can food, make pickles, and sew and mend clothing.

Location: Howie parking lot
The annual Pumpkin Drop, sponsored by the Physics Society, continues the tradition of dropping liquid nitrogen-cooled pumpkins from the Georgia Tech Observatory. Gather to admire this spectacle and arrive early for the Women in Physics Society Bake Sale. For the first time ever, the VIP STEMCOMM class will be presenting a fun Halloween-themed science demonstration.

Location: Georgia Aquarium
Head to the Georgia Aquarium during after-hours and discover what makes the ocean mysterious and unexplored at this 21+ event featuring cocktails, food options, a live DJ, and access to the aquarium’s main gallery. Discover what makes you a place.’

Location: Urban Tree Cidery, 1465 Howell Mill Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Does your pet have the perfect Halloween costume? Enter a pet costume contest and win prizes for pups and people at Urban Tree Cidery’s Howl-O-Ween event. In addition to food trucks, there will also be dog-friendly charcuterie boards and ice cream.

Volunteer at Gigi’s Playhouse Halloween Party

Halloween Hora 5K
Date and time: Sunday, October 29th, 9am
Whether you prefer to walk or run, there’s nothing scary about this race around campus. The race begins at the Campus Recreation Center and ends with free T-shirts and a chance to win prizes for those in costume.
Haunting of Tech Terror Inn
When: Sunday, October 29th, 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Location: Medical Academy
The Academy of Medicine will be transformed into the Tech Terror Inn for a “night of spooky, scary fun” with activities including a haunted maze, magic show, murder mystery, escape room and tarot card reading. Come in costume for this free event open to all Georgia Tech students.

RHA 2nd Autumn Festival
When: Tuesday, October 31st, 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Location: Tech Green
Residence Hall Association enjoys cathartic destruction with pumpkin paint and pummel. There you can paint and destroy pumpkins, take on the haunted corn maze, win prizes, relax at the petting zoo and check out booths led by community council officers. can. Includes fun activities.
