Apple today announced the addition of a new “Concerts” feature to the Shazam app. The feature is designed to help Shazam users search for concerts in their local area.
The Concerts section is located in My Music and provides recommendations based on each user’s Shazam history. Apple says Shazam users can browse, search, and filter by artist, date, and location, as well as explore trending concerts.
Events can be saved in the app, and you can set reminders for upcoming shows, view tickets, and unlock exclusive concerts from selected artists. These exclusive content includes new watch faces and wallpapers, plus behind-the-scenes videos, tour photos, show setlists, and more.
Shazam’s new Concerts feature follows the new Concerts option added in iOS 17. When you search for an artist in Spotlight, you’ll get information about upcoming concerts and options to buy tickets and get information about venue details.
Shazam is free to download from the App Store, and the song search feature is also integrated directly into iOS.
