Halloween is just around the corner, and the Houston area has plenty of fun ways to celebrate that are close to home for those who live in the suburbs.

trunk or snack
First Methodist Conroe

FMC’s Trunk-or-Treat invites families to come to the trunk to pick up treats from local neighbors and community members. After getting candy, families can paint faces, get balloon animals, and see which trunk is best decorated.
Trunk or Treat at Berry Center

Families in Cy-Fair ISD and nearby areas should check out the Trunk-or-Treat event hosted by the Langham Creek YMCA and the Cy-Fair ISD Police Department. Participants can see who takes home the most decorated trunk or bag full of candy. Trunk decorators can still participate in the contest.
Spring Creek Fellowship Trunk or Treat

Come rain or shine, join Spring Creek Fellowship and enjoy Halloween with a trunk full of candy. This is an event that can be enjoyed by all ages. Take a look at all the different decorated trunks and costumes before checking out the inflatable games.
St. John of the Cross Trunk or Treat

St. John of the Cross Youth Ministry will host a “trunk-or-treat” event on Saturday, giving New Caney residents a bright and safe place to buy candy and dress up for Halloween. .

Magnolia Meadows will host its 2nd Annual Sugar Free Trick-or-Treat Trail on Halloween to help kids with diabetes enjoy Halloween. Fun for kids of all ages, including sugar-free candy, an inflatable maze, and a bounce house.
Boofest Kingwood
Town Center Park-Kingwood — 4429 Town Center Place, Kingwood
October 28th, 4pm to 9pm
Boofest turns Halloween into a fall festival with pumpkin fields, candy booths, trackless trains, and pumpkin painting and carving contests. Kingwood residents can also sample local seasonal produce at one of the many booths.
Halloween at Margaritaville Lake Resort
