Why should voters elect you to the Claymont School Board? My focus is on the entire Claymont community. We need to bring pride back to the 922. Make Claymont your destination, not your starting point. We accomplish this by coming together as administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, and local business owners and leaders to support each other. Together, we can provide our students with a path to success. Learn, live, thrive, and raise the next generation the 922 way: the Mustang way.

Why should voters elect you to the Claymont School Board? No one cares more about the success of this district in every way than I do. I bring a young energy to this school board not seen in many years. Our youth allows us to connect with young people in this community and welcome new ideas and programs that benefit our students. I think independently and vote in favor of what I think is best for my students.
What are the top reporting issues facing school districts and what will you do to address them? In my opinion, the most pressing issue is a lack of trust. From staff who can’t trust the district’s leadership to parents who can’t trust the school with their children, a lack of trust has completely paralyzed the district. I intend to find out the reasons for this lack of trust, fix it, and begin to rebuild trust in our district and community as a whole by being as transparent and honest as possible.

Why should voters elect you to the Claymont School Board? I encourage voters to vote for candidates who are not running for personal gain, revenge, or special interest groups. In conclusion, I care about my community, my students, and the people who live there, and I want to do everything I can to make it better. I was born and raised in this community, my parents are alumni, my husband and I are alumni, and we are raising our children here as little Mustangs.
What are the top reporting issues facing school districts and what will you do to address them? The biggest challenge facing our district is economic stability. This problem continues and will not go away overnight, but we need leaders to join us in understanding why we are all here to provide the best education and opportunity for our students. We can work together to make smart decisions that don’t affect us. .
