Walmart/Sam’s Club Facility #318 awarded a $500 grant to Hamilton Haven, a nonprofit organization in Prescott.
Hamilton Haven is a volunteer-only organization that opened in April 2020 to serve families and individuals temporarily displaced by fire, flood, other natural disasters, or additional circumstances as determined by Hamilton Haven leadership. provides short-term emergency housing.
Our primary service area consists of Clark, Hempstead, and Nevada counties, but assistance is available to anyone.
“We are pleased that the Arkadelphia Walmart store recognizes the importance of our mission,” said Michelle Hamilton Rose, Executive Director of Hamilton Haven. “Our team remains committed to serving displaced families.”
“This is the first grant we have received from our Arkadelphia location,” said Public Relations Coordinator Nathan Tidwell.
The Local Community Grants program allows Walmart facilities to provide funding directly to local organizations.
Hamilton Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization and is designated as a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax deductible.
