Halloween is here again this year, and there are a lot of events that people of all ages can enjoy. Whether it’s wholesome family fun or something a little more spine-tingling for adults, these events are sure to get people into the spirit of the spooky season.
Twin City Paranormal Society Cocktail Party: Reminisce and drink in the spooky adventures of the Twin Cities Paranormal Society at Lexington Restaurant in St. Paul on October 27, 28, and 30. The Oct. 30 party will include paranormal investigator Dave Schroeder, host of the podcast “The Paranormal 60,” who will reveal the results of an overnight investigation into Lexington itself. . Minnesota Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: The Minnesota Zoo invites families to walk along its pumpkin-lined trail through Nov. 4. Haunted Basement: Party to Death: The Haunted Basement, a Minneapolis nonprofit, has transformed Travail Kitchen and Amusements, located at 4134 N. Hubbard Ave. in Robbinsdale, into a spine-chilling dining experience featuring a Halloween-themed 10-course tasting menu and cocktails. Masu. Minneapolis Cider Company Halloween Murder Mystery Party: On October 27th, you will role-play with other participants to solve a murder at an office party. Barebones Puppet Theater 30th Annual Celebration: The outdoor puppet show is held every October, now in its 30th year, and promises family-friendly plays and songs. Screenings will be held on October 27th, 28th, 29th, and 31st at the Midtown Greenway, 2828 11th Street South, Minneapolis. Tickets can be purchased at barebonespuppets.org. Admission is free, but a $20 donation is suggested for each ticket.
Hocus Pocus Halloween Drug Brunch: Roxy’s Cabaret in Minneapolis will host a Halloween-themed drag show on Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Performances and costumes will be showcased during the brunch show. Tickets are $15 and available at roxysabaret.com.
