Whether you’re a kid who loves trick-or-treating or an adult who makes the annual pilgrimage to the Factory of Terror.
The middle ground, of course, is their mutual love for “Hocus Pocus.”
While there are plenty of Halloween events in and around Fall River for kids and guests of all ages, there are also a few that are just for adults.
Some of these have a high spooky factor.

Not everyone likes scary, so there are some events for all ages. Spooky Season doesn’t have to be scary, after all.

Lizzie Borden House Tours
This season, visit one of Fall River’s most historically significant, and perhaps most infamous, homes. The Lizzie Borden House (230 2nd St.) offers a 90-minute ghost tour that takes you through one of the city’s most fascinating stories. With Lizzie’s Ghost Hunt Tours, you can delve deeper into history using your own ghost hunting equipment. Ghost tours run from 7pm to 9pm, and ghost hunting runs from 10pm to midnight. Halloween Party at Agoroz Pizza Bar & Grill
Put on your spookiest costume and get ready to party at Agoro’s Pizza Bar & Grill, 2756 County St., Somerset. A Halloween party will be held at the Vasilis venue on Friday, October 27th. There will be live entertainment from 6pm to 9pm and a DJ from 9pm to midnight. Additionally, there are cash prizes and prizes up for grabs. Follow Agoro’s on Facebook for the latest updates.
Audubon Folktales, Beer and Wine
Join the Audubon Society of Rhode Island for some spooky fun at Karatank Wildlife Refuge, 301 Brown Avenue in Seekonk. They will be hosting an evening of folklore with local beer and wine on Friday, Oct. 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. Hear New England’s spooky stories about nocturnal wildlife, then stroll the trails and watch the kids. A night for myself. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a flashlight. This event is open to guests age 21 and older. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Howl O Vienna Puppy and Viva Fall River
This is for our little furry friends. The Viva Fall River Maker Shop will be hosting a Howl-O-Ween His Pup-Up event on Friday, October 27th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at 333 S. Main Street. You can enter by dressing up your puppy for Halloween. Pet costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and creepiest outfits. We will also be holding an autumn-themed photo session. A spooky night walk through the Kopicut Forest
Enjoy local legends and lore as you explore Fall River’s Copicut Woods. The Trustees will be hosting a spooky night walk on Saturday, October 28th from 5pm to 7pm. The region has long been surrounded by superstition and speculation regarding paranormal phenomena. This guided hike takes you through an abandoned farm village and Miller Lane. Hear spooky stories, learn about local wildlife, and see how our relationship with nature intersects with folklore and legend. The length of the hike is approximately 4 miles. Expect rocky terrain, exposed roots, and foggy weather. The cost is $12 for members and $20 for non-members. For more information, call 978-338-1136.
Nosferatu of the Narrows Halloween Spooktacular
Enjoy an evening of classic horror, live music, spooky costumes, and special guests. The Narrows Center for the Arts, 16 Annawan Street in Fall River, will host the second annual Nosfertatu Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. A live band plays the immersive rock soundtrack of his 1922 horror classic Nosferatu. Former Conjuring resident visits Alley Theater
Andrea Perron, the eldest daughter of the Perron family, a former resident of the infamous “Conjuring” in Burrillville, Rhode Island, will give a presentation in Middleboro. Perron will appear at the Alley Theater, 133 Center Street, on Sunday, October 29th. She will talk about her childhood home, which was the inspiration for the film The Conjuring. There will be a question-and-answer session, and Perron will be signing and selling copies of her book, “House of Darkness House of Light.” The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is $25. Proceeds will benefit the Bartwood School of Performing Arts. New England Bartending Services will provide drinks and Coffee Milano will provide food. A spooky walk through downtown Fall River
The Downtown Spooky Stroll will be held at Viva Fall River on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31st from 2-5 p.m. A prelude to the annual Greater Fall River Recreation Halloween Party, Spooky Stroll offers a unique downtown trick-or-treating adventure. More than 25 participating businesses will set up candy stations offering spooky treats at a spooky gathering for all ages. Put on your costume and get ready to haunt downtown. Greater Fall River RE-CREATION Halloween Party
Tuesday, Oct. 31, 45 Rock St. in Fall River will be the event location. From 5 to 7 p.m., Greater Fall River RE-CREATION will host its annual Halloween party. They will be handing out scary goodies, including free candy and food. There’s pizza, trick-or-treating, and even a spooky hallway. Additionally, there will be face painting and costume contests. Rain or shine, the party is on.

Get your scares right at Factory of Terror, located at 120 Pearl Street in Fall River. Factory of Terror, an indoor haunted house featuring realistic, detailed rooms featuring special effects and horror actors, is open various times and days from now through November 11th.
