WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A Wichita Falls woman with a long arrest record has been charged with entering a Walmart and exchanging jewelry and clothing for new ones in front of employees.
Riley Sage Weiss was charged with theft on October 15, 2023, from the Lawrence Road Walmart.
Employees told police that Weiss entered the store, removed body jewelry and put it inside his shirt, took off his hat, removed the price tag and put on a new hat, then took off his shoes and put new ones on. It is said that he changed his shoes.
She was stopped outside the store and taken away by police.
Weiss has been arrested multiple times. Her convictions include theft of a firearm, identity fraud, two counts of assault, evading arrest, and several counts of drug possession.
In one arrest for stolen identification, police said she stuffed keys, a cross and cash in her mouth, and in another arrest, police said they found a meth pipe in a body cavity.
In 2018, Wichita Falls police said Weiss led a chase from Wichita Falls to Burkburnett in a stolen vehicle at speeds of 160 mph.
