Bringing unique and interesting events to the area, Journeyman Distillery recently hosted a unique Polynesian-themed dinner at their Three Oaks, Michigan location.
Executive Chef Amanda Salas and her talented team have gone beyond what is typically offered and created a menu inspired by the vibrant flavors of Polynesia.
Highlights include succulent roasted and pulled pork served with flavorful accompaniments such as roasted pineapple and Polynesian barbecue sauce. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing cold buffet of dishes such as shrimp poke, tropical fruit salad, macaroni salad, and luau salad.
For the main course, the hot buffet featured huli huli chicken, Polynesian meatballs and corn on the cob, while for dessert, guests could indulge in pina colada panna cotta, mango lime tart and chocolate macadamia nut tart.
To complete the theme, guests were invited to join in the fun as well, who dressed to impress in their most colorful luau costumes and added to the festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was a series of competitions, including best conga line, limbo and luau dance, where participants showed off their skills and creativity, drawing cheers and applause from the enthusiastic audience.
Journeyman will continue to showcase its talent for providing guests with unparalleled experiences throughout the fall and throughout the year.
Enjoy Valparaiso's Summer Music Live with free live music in the courtyard every Friday and Saturday through September 28th.
