Oakmont Borough Passes New Ordinance
Oakmont Borough Council members approved an ordinance amending Borough Ordinance Section 204-314C, “Fences and Walls: Establishing Setbacks, Design Materials, and Other Requirements.”
Borough President Scott Foddy said the changes will add illustrations to the code, which he said was part of the original design of the code for the Planning Commission's Environmental Planning and Design department but wasn't included for unknown reasons.
“We've found it's very easy for staff and residents to understand what's in the codebook,” Foddy said.
No other standards in the code are changed.
