New Delhi [India]August 26, 2024: On August 23, 2024 at 5:30 PM, Scoopy Trends in collaboration with International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) hosted a heart-warming charity event in Vishanpur village, Sitamarhi district, Bihar, India. The event was spearheaded by Adarsh Ranjan and saw the active participation of volunteers like Aman Kumar Pradhan, Krishna Patel, Monu Kumar Bharti, Ritik Kumar and Abhisek Kumar. Together, they created an unforgettable experience for the local children.
Held in a remote village far from bustling cities, the event aimed to address the severe lack of educational resources that hold children back in such areas. The organizing team brought essentials for learning, including books, notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, school bags and pencil cases. To further encourage physical activity, they also provided sports equipment, including rackets, balls, badminton sets, frisbees, footballs, board games like ludo and checkers, and skipping ropes.
A total of 35 children participated in the event and were seen beaming with joy as they received their gifts. In addition to providing educational support, the volunteers also ensured that the nutritional needs of the children were met by distributing food items such as noodles, rice, flour, lentils, snacks, sweets, biscuits, bread, chocolates and mustard oil.
The event was held at P/S Bhajpati, P/O Patodaura, Vishanpur village, postcode 843314, Sitamarhi district, Bihar, India. Ms. Rinki Devi, president of the beneficiary organisation, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for their generosity.
Throughout the event, volunteers engaged the children in a variety of interactive activities – motivating them to learn, playing games with them, teaching them new skills and sharing snacks – and the children, who often lack attention and resources, looked visibly delighted and happy.
Reflecting on the event, Adarsh Ranjan shared his thoughts: “When we arrived here, we realised that the children were eager to learn but lacked sufficient resources due to the remote location of the village. We felt that by helping the children, we could truly make a difference in their lives. Seeing the happiness on the children's faces made us feel that all our efforts had paid off.”
