WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — As consumers face the moral test of how long to keep their New Year’s resolutions, one app is promising free workout classes and visits to nearby gyms. This is your chance to find some fun training.
According to the website, ClassPass users will receive credits for 30 days to use on their own for palate cleansing, yoga, boxing, and gym visits.
Advertised as a “credit-based membership” that grants access to “gyms, salons, and spas,” ClassPass’s terms of service entitle consumers to 43 free credits per month (valued at $89) However, consumers are shown to be limited to studios. Or just go to the gym once. Double dipping is prohibited.
ClassPass’ online locator lists many courses and gyms in the Washington metropolitan area.
According to a recent Forbes study, New Year’s resolutions take just under four months on average.
ClassPass can transform your regiment by using available credits for a variety of trainings instead of feeling burnt out from one training session.
Other local fitness discounts earlier this year include Montgomery County’s free fitness passes that give residents access to gyms, game rooms and community recreation centers.
Fairfax County says consumers can receive a 15% discount on annual memberships to rec centers, trucks, classes and more. Discount lasts until January 31st.
