As a Workplace Learning Coordinator/Instructor, you will ensure students have access to high quality workplace learning opportunities and help prepare reflective and ethical professionals. You will join a team working on a range of workplace learning programs to prepare students for careers in social work and human services, in areas such as mental health, aging, child and family practice, and Australian Indigenous welfare. There are opportunities to teach workplace study subjects to both social work students, as well as students pursuing degrees in human services and arts, and both on-campus and online students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
To be successful you need:
- Minimum Master’s qualification related to social work or equivalent certification and position.
- Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- At least 5 years post-qualification (FTE) experience.
- Critical knowledge and understanding of workplace learning in social work and human services.
- A clear understanding of workplace learning in social work and human services and the ability to build strong partnerships, networks and relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in an outcome-oriented academic environment.
