Walmart customers in California can look forward to a new program rolling out at 10 stores.
Uncle Sharky’s Poke Bar has entered into a master lease agreement with Walmart to bring its fast-food-style poke bars to stores nationwide.

The Hawaiian restaurant announced plans for an upcoming partnership with the retail giant in a press release from Sacramento in December.
With current stores in Hawaii, California, Utah, and Texas, and contract stores in Arizona and Nevada, Uncle Sharkey is expanding into Walmart, adding 10 new locations across California over the next five months. Expand your store.
“My dream is to bring the essence of Sharky’s Ohana to the millions of families who shop at Walmart,” said Uncle Sharky’s Founder and CEO Fenn Reyes. “This is a monumental step forward in achieving Uncle Sharky’s mission of ‘bringing affordable poke bowls to the masses’!”
Uncle Sharkey’s, known for its signature Hawaiian Poke Bowls and Boba Milk Tea & Dole Soft Serve, will “introduce a new modern look to Walmart stores,” according to a press release from the poke company.
The restaurant also has a limited menu designed specifically for Walmart customers.
According to the release, the two are united by their community-centered ideals.
“The essence of Uncle Sharky’s brand is centered around the idea of families sharing food, creating an experience that resonates with Walmart’s community-oriented approach.”
What is a Poke Bowl?
Poke bowls usually consist of diced raw fish along with vegetables and grains.
Uncle Sharkii offers a variety of poke bowls, including tofu and chicken for those who don’t like fish.
When ordering a poke bowl at a restaurant, you can choose rice, salad, or both. Next, choose your preferred main protein (spicy or non-spicy). Then choose the sauce you want to put on your bowl.
Walmart’s first Uncle Sharkey’s opened this fall in a store in Vacaville, Calif., and the grand opening weekend included a BOGO Poke Bowl promotion, a BOGO Boba Tea promotion, and giveaways of Uncle Sharky merchandise.
First customers were also eligible for a $5 Uncle Sharkii credit toward future purchases.

The brand was established in 2018 during a family gathering overseas.
The founders coined the name Uncle Sharkii and stick to an authentic focus. Ohana A “family” culture with a mission, according to the company.
