Well, Halloween is over, Thanksgiving has passed, we’re getting ready for Christmas, and New Year’s Eve and the thrill of New Year’s Eve have been shelved and we’re back to orbiting the sun.

Ukrainian National Ballet Theater presents “Cinderella”
Perhaps one of the most famous love stories of all time comes to the Ukey Theater at the RP Funding Center on Thursday, 701 W. Lime St. in Lakeland. The 7:30 p.m. show features new choreography and direction by Andrei Litvinov, set to Prokofiev’s classical music. The ballet premiered “Cinderella” at Ukraine’s Dnipro Opera House on February 26-27, 2021, but the performance was suspended due to the pandemic. Al Ernst’s Comedy Academy

Festival del Aguinaldo “Latin Christmas Fest”
On Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., Bartow’s Mosaic Park (2250 S. Floral Ave.) will host a free holiday Christmas festival with a Latin twist. Sponsored by the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Polk County, there will be music, food, entertainment, giveaways, special guest visits and more.
